My Mother, Sage advice à la Oprah Winfrey

A fun introspective look at other topics more rooted in everyday life. Of-course, the house style of looking into what is happening in the world today and bringing some insight into this still applies, kinda.

So it begins, you’re probably wondering what?

This first one is dedicated to our wonderful Mothers and the illustrious ways they manage coping with anything life.

And when we say life right now, we obviously mean living through the unlikely event of yet another major societal shift: hello 21st-century Pandemic.

So I asked my Mum how she managed to stay so full of hope, capably handling all matters even as we all slowly dissociate from our usual everyday in lockdown.

Mum : Ebun, in life you can not always find meaning in things.

[What? Not even Easter bunnies?]

Mum: I mean that things change all the time. It’s a change that you are back home from Milan now, rather than doing your programme over there.

[Wow, erm, don’t remind me]

Mum: But why be afraid of change when there is nothing to be done about it. Instead I choose to be grateful and useful.

[And of-course taking cute pictures with your daughter helps]
